The main focus of this development cycle was modernizing core parts of the engine and game code to support the work-in-progress Tiberian Sun mod and other community projects. This is a huge accomplishment for our community, congratulations! At the end of November we passed 500,000 completed multiplayer games since August 2014, when we started recording online server statistics. This playtest is a timely opportunity to get community participation, as we celebrate a massive record of games played. More than 700 commits from 42 contributors were merged over the last five months, with each commit helping to fix bugs, improve code quality, or add new features that improve the single- and multi-player experience. We are excited to welcome the new year with a new OpenRA playtest! ![]()

![]() Don’t hesitate to reach out to a Grow Generation Harvest Specialist if you have any question about operating, repairing or purchasing a Twister unit by simply calling (877) 978-1119. With a full line of products ranging in scale from the home hobbyist to the largest commercial grows in the world, Twister is the benchmark for effective and reliable harvesting equipment. The Twister product line is the answer for the 21 st century harvester. This process will have to be repeated each time you put the machine back together after cleaning and will become easier each time you do it. You accomplish this by starting with no contact with the blade running and slowly adjusting the two tuning dials one at a time until you hear/feel a light contact on both sides of the bed-knife. Because the blades are spinning at such a fast rpm, this may seem loud but we promise that is the best way to ensure the tightest cut. Just like how a good pair of scissors make a “shiiiick” noise upon closing, you want to hear a light blade contact on your Twister. As Eric discusses in the video, you want a good and even blade contact between the reel blade and bed knife. Tuning the T4 is simple but not very intuitive for a first-time user. What about tuning my T4? Don’t worry, we saved the most important tip for last. Follow the step by step process shown in the video for breakdown and clean your machines in minutes and get back to work.įor effective cleaning you will need the following tools: It’s important to clean your Twister T4 at the first signs of build -up on the tumbler and blades to ensure your cut stays consistent and the machines last a long time. Once you have 2 or more machines in line, the Twister Feed and Quality Control Conveyor are essential to avoid bottle necking in your workflow.īut don’t get “harvest happy” and forget to show your hard-working machines some love. You can easily boost these numbers by simply adding a second or third unit in tandem to your original machine, giving you a big increase in production. This leaves you with a near hand trim quality byproduct that, with proper drying and curing, will yield a golden stable extraction.Ī single T4 can produce 23lbs/hr of wet flower and 7lbs/hr of dry flower. The vortex cone ensures that your precious sweet leaf never touches another blade after the initial cut. The addition of the Trim Saver is a no brainer for anyone considering extracting the byproduct. ![]() ![]() The tumbler can be slowed down to 47RPM for those looking to extract the large sweet leaf post-harvest or can be sped up to 96RPM for the tightest possible trim. The blade can be sped up to a maximum of 1875RPM to ensure optimum blade contact or slowed down to 980RPM for a gentle cut on flowers with less dense structure. The Twister T4 has 6 different speed settings to allow maximum control of your harvest. The T4 is capable of trimming the widest moisture spectrum from wet (right off the plant), semi dry (10-18%), and even dry (10-7%). ![]() You can now adjust your settings to accommodate varying strain characteristics, moisture levels, and flower density. Being able to control the speed of the tumbler and blades makes the Twister T4 one of the most versatile harvesting machines on the market. The new Twister T4 comes equipped with a variable speed motor, which is a huge improvement from the previous design. Check out Episode 2 of the Grow Pro Channel, powered by GrowGeneration. In this video, Eric Singleton visits his local Twister rep to answer those questions and more in this quick and easy tutorial. These are some of the most common questions customers have when they unbox a brand-new Twister Trimmer for the first time. If you find yourself asking these questions, fear not. ![]() ![]() ![]() In order to excavate this assumption, we will survey debates on 1) the origin and history of race and racism (from the Ancients to the early moderns) 2) the deployment of categories in contested proximity to race (from class to gender) and 3) the development of different conceptual paradigms (from double consciousness to political ontology) to parse the relationship between race and the world. We will begin with the working assumption that slavery is at the root of the problem of race and racism. This course offers a critical introduction to the conditions of possibility for modern racial thinking, with particular emphasis on racial slavery and anti-blackness. While paying attention to the seemingly endless possibilities associated with queer theory, this course is profoundly committed to as Sedgwick argues to keep “same-sex sexual expression at “the terms definitional center,” as not to “dematerialize any possibility of queerness itself.”. Although this course is organized thematically across a number of disciplines, it also resists a kind of stringent categorization or segmentation- mirroring the energy that has characterized this interdisciplinary field. It offers a very different story arc and experience from its predecessor. In her essay “Queer and Now,” Eve Kosofsky Sedgwick offers a rumination on the political, epistemological and pedagogical imports of “queer” at that moment: “ That’s one of the things that ‘queer’ can refer to: the open mesh of possibilities, gaps, overlaps, dissonances and resonances, lapses and excesses of meaning when the constituent elements of anyone’s gender, of anyone’s sexuality aren’t made (or can’t be made) to signify monolithically.” This 3 credit hour course, takes up Sedgwick’s suggestion of the possibilities of “queer” to consider the development of queer theory, queer studies, and queer politics. Increased Coal and Iron Market size – The price of coal and iron can now go up to £8 per cube, and it’s not uncommon.īrass: Birmingham is a sequel to Brass. Pottery – These behemoths of Birmingham offer huge VPs, but at a huge cost and need to plan. Each level of manufactured goods provides unique rewards, rather than just escalating in VPs, making it a more versatile (yet potentially more difficult) path vs cotton. Manufactured goods – Function like cotton, but features eight levels. As an incentive to sell early, the first player to sell to a trader receives free beer.īirmingham features three all-new industry types:īrewery – Produces precious beer barrels required to sell goods. For example, a level 1 cotton mill requires one beer to flip. To sell cotton, pottery, or manufactured goods to these traders, you must also “grease the wheels of industry” by consuming beer. Each of these traders is looking for a specific type of good each game. You must now sell your product through traders located around the edges of the board. Iron, coal, and cotton are three industries which appear in both the original Brass as well as in Brass: Birmingham.īrewing has become a fundamental part of the culture in Birmingham. This provides players with the opportunity to score much higher value canals in the first era, and creates interesting strategy with industry placement. ![]() Instead of each flipped industry tile giving a static 1 VP to all connected canals and rails, many industries give 0 or even 2 VPs. VPs are counted at the end of each half for the canals, rails and established (flipped) industry tiles.īirmingham features dynamic scoring canals/rails. The game is played over two halves: the canal era (years 1770-1830) and the rail era (years 1830-1870). ![]() (This action replaces Double Action Build in original Brass.) Birmingham tells the story of competing entrepreneurs in Birmingham during the industrial revolution, between the years of 1770-1870.Īs in its predecessor, you must develop, build, and establish your industries and network, in an effort to exploit low or high market demands.Įach round, players take turns according to the turn order track, receiving two actions to perform any of the following actions (found in the original game):ġ) Build – Pay required resources and place an industry tile.Ģ) Network – Add a rail / canal link, expanding your network.ģ) Develop – Increase the VP value of an industry.Ĥ) Sell – Sell your cotton, manufactured goods and pottery.ĥ) Loan – Take a £30 loan and reduce your income.īrass: Birmingham also features a new sixth action:Ħ) Scout – Discard three cards and take a wild location and wild industry card. I am looking at trying out for a band - already established, gigging etc., in a couple of weeks, and while I can play pretty much everything they play, I can't or know that I won't play everythng the exact as the CD. It has always stood my in good stead so far, but I thought I would just see what others experience in this area, as I have never bothered with a cover band - at least not seriously, until now. That is how I have aways played, and even though I feel I have an ear for listening to it and picking out what a drummer is doing, sometimes, that counts for nothing as I either CAN'T play it the way the original is played, or I don't have the equipment or I just don'tt know what the drummer is doing, so I just play what feels right. It's just that I was wondering if I should be aiming to play the song the EXACT way it is played originally, or, as you said, aiming for the feel and energy etc. I have no problems with being a part fo a cover band over an originals - in fact it is my preference. It may seem boring and unfullfilling at first, but is a good way to get out playing and gaining valueble experience. as i said, i do take liberies, but never at the expense of the song. ![]() in my opinion a good coverband drummer does not overplay. i do try to learn the songs as they were written and get comfortable with playing it right before i start messin with it. i tend to take a few libeties with the songs as long as i am capturing the feel and spirit of the song. ![]() ![]() Igel.DESKTOP-4BDBTV5\\AppData\\Roaming\\Virtuali/CouatlAddons. These spotlights are designed to highlight a specific performer in a powerful circle of light. A reflector spotlight luminaire includes a housing defining an optical axis. Some ERSes, notably the Source Four, also include a dichroic reflector, so the beam is much cooler than other lights. These reflectors have two conjugate foci. Ellipsoidal light, also known as ellipsoidal reflector spotlight (ERS), leko light, profile spotlights (in Europe), is a type of stage lighting fixture, named for the ellipsoidal reflector used to collect and direct the light through a barrel that contains a lens. It is a fact that the first ellipsoidal reflector spotlights were manufactured and introduced into the field by Kliegl Bros. The line between hunter and investigator is really very slim. However, the real answer that usually gets overlooked with monster hunters is that you’ve got to stop thinking about them in terms of signature weapons and more in terms of investigation. For example, the war bow fired heavier arrows with larger heads designed to penetrate armor. You need to choose the right tool for the job. They don’t just fall over dead.Īrchery and hunting are a lot more complicated than just picking a bow. Even with modern hunting, you have to track the animal as it wanders off. They can survive for hours, and are just as likely to fall prey to infection. You’re setting up a slow and painful death. (Guns don’t work the way Hollywood portrays them, either.) Death is unlikely to be immediate. The short answer to the question is that a general hunting bow can kill a human, though arrows don’t work the same way as a gun. Certainly, masters of the humor comic are still at work – both those that never went away, like the legendary Sergio Aragones, and those that are making a compelling return to form, as Steve Gerber has done by returning to his greatest creation, Howard The Duck (don’t let the ’80s Lucasfilm fool you, Howard was originally one of the sharpest satires around, and Gerber’s new mini-series has the long-suffering anthropomorphic duck once again “trapped in a world he never made” – I plan to dedicate a full column to Howard’s rebirth once the mini-series is complete).Įven more interesting are the up-and-coming younger guns that are taking the art form in new and different directions – from the macabre humor of Jhonen Vasquez ( Johnny the Homicidal Maniac and Nickelodeon’s brilliant cartoon, Invader ZIM) and Roman Dirge ( Lenore) to the off-the-wall work of the likes of Evan Dorkin ( Dork, Milk & Cheese) and Tony Millionaire ( Sock Monkey, Maakies), to the sharp pop-culture satire of Gail Simone ( Killer Princesses, Deadpool), to name but a few.
